First of all, you might be wondering why they're called campers sometimes and students other times. That's because of the nature of our founding.
In the beginning of Starr Mountain Estate, we hosted summer and winter camps in the hopes of educating the local youth about the wonders of horsemanship. Over time, we found that we could offer riding lessons, which opened more jobs up in the area and allowed those who were interested to come and ride on a more regular schedule.
Now, not only to we host camps and lessons, but we also board and breed horses. We even host shows and have a growing equestrian team. Even though we offer all this, our guests are still called campers. It seems the term just stuck.
Campers are people that come for lessons. They are people that come for summer or winter camp. They are people that board their horses here.
If you have a camper that comes for lessons, please specify which class they are taking in their application.
If you have a camper that comes for camp, they may make a schedule of classes they want to take. See this list for more.
If you have a camper that boards their horse(s) here, please specify in their application (and the horse's).
