AIVA EBRU CHARTIER (Pronounced EY-VAH Ab-rou Ch-ar-tee-ah)
14 Years Old
Female
Straight
Single
Equestrian Team
APPEARANCE
Aiva is short. Well, she prefers the term 'petite' because anyone is short if the person standing next to them is tall. That, and the fact that 'petite' sounds better. Aiva has brown hair that has blonde highlights. She's slim, and due to her premature birth, is likely not going to grow any more than her height of 5'1. Aiva's hair is never parted, and if it is, she woke up that way. She tends to throw on the first clothes that she sees in the morning, not paying much attention to them. Aiva loves jeans, and her Amazona Soft Touch Spanish-cut riding boots. She'll generally never be seen without them on when she's in the barn.
Aiva generally wears her hair down. She's not one for fancy hairstyles, makeup, and though she does like wearing dresses, she doesn't like the fact that dresses mean makeup and fancy hairstyles. At 14, Aiva is what some would consider a late-bloomer, meaning she just got her period that summer, and is only a 32 A.

PERSONALITY
Aiva is definitely one who stays quiet, and keeps her opinion to
herself. She doesn't tend to talk much except to her peers, family, and
friends. Aiva isn't necessarily soft-spoken, having been around
horses since she was a young girl. Of course, that also means that she
can have the vocabulary of a sailor as well, though only if the
situation calls for it.
Aiva tends to get very annoyed at people if they think that she's younger than she really is. Aiva hates being viewed as weak, like just because she's a woman she's more fragile and must be protected.... No, that's a good way for someone to get laid flat on their back if they voice that thought.
She's very determined, never afraid to do whatever it takes to get something done, but she can also be a procrastinator if something doesn't interest her. However, if something does interest her, Aiva can spend hours and days researching the topic. Aiva loves Latin and French; both of which she took at her old school as Latin was required from sixth grade on and French was an option once she reached seventh grade.

HISTORY
Born to Russian-American Anna (previously Hanson) Chartier and Turkish-Frenchman Adem Chartier, Aiva's name came from her heritage. Aiva was born early....so early that it was thought that she wouldn't survive a day. Her mother had had a very difficult pregnancy, and so, her parents never tried for another child fearing for the worst after Aiva survived, miraculous against all odds. After the Hunger Games came out, Aiva always joked that 'the odds were ever in her favor'. Aiva was born in Virginia, in Richmond. Her father was a lawyer, and her mother was a surgeon. As such, they made great money, but were often gone for most of the day (and sometimes in the middle of the night in her mother's case).
Aiva grew up with no friends in the neighborhood, until she went to school where she would meet her best friend; Lisa. Lisa went to a barn after school where she rode, so Aiva would go and watch her take lessons. When Aiva was six, her parents signed her up for lessons at the same barn. Aiva was a natural, and soon riding became one of her favorite things in the world...even beyond reading. Aiva soon went on to riding tougher horses, and as the years passed, she did dressage, cross country, and show jumping. At twelve, Aiva started working off her lessons by working with other horses, riding and helping train them.
When she turned 14, her parents had to move to New York due to her grandmother dying, and leaving the family estate to Anna. Once her parents had jobs and her grandmother's estate lined up, the family of three packed up their things, got on a plane, and flew to New York. What Aiva didn't know, was that her parents had a surprise for her when they got to New York. Once they got the estate, which was a large, basically manor size from the colonial times, house and unpacked, her parents said they'd like to go see the town and drive around. Aiva said that she'd go with them, and once in the BMW, her parents started driving down the dirt roads in the countryside. Aiva was told about her new horse; a mare. Her new horse was to be boarded at Starr Mountain Estate. Also mentioned to her was the equestrian team that was available, and decided that she would love to join it.

PETS
Name: Braun
Species: Dog
Gender: Male
Age: 3
Personality: Braun is a very hyper dog, requiring daily exercise which he got plenty of as Aiva took him to the park every day when they were in Virginia. Braun is energetic, and loves chasing birds, but despite that, his favorite buddy to play with is a blue cat that is on Aiva's parents estate. Braun does have some separation anxiety whenever Aiva's parents, and Aiva leave. He tends to whine, and go looking around the house for them. Braun is very happy when someone comes home, bouncing up and down. However, he is also very protective of his family, and tends to be a little cautious around strangers until he gets to know them. Braun is very good around horses, and Aiva used to be allowed to take him on trail rides when she rode at her old barn.
Appearance: Braun, like most Weimaraners, has a docked tail. He has light amber eyes and a charcoal-blue coat. He is on the larger side; 88 lbs and 28 inches tall at the withers. Braun looks the very definition of a Weimaraner; muscular and athletic.
History: Bought by a young family who wanted a pretty blue dog, Braun wasn't always called Braun. His name was originally Blue. However, the family had no idea that he'd grow so big, and within six months, already didn't have the time to play with him and take him on walks every day. So, the family put him up for sale on a Facebook group, and Aiva saw him on said group. Her parents, or her mother at least, had always wanted a Weimaraner, so when Aiva showed her mom Braun, the Chartier family went to go get him in Alexandria. Blue was renamed Braun, after a German surgeon or something....her mom chose the name. When the Chartier family had to move to New York, Braun would also go with them.
