Eve is a tall dun Irish Sport Horse. She stands at 16.3 hands and carries herself as though she were a hand taller. She doesn't sport any white markings, and her black points easily draw the eye to her legs.

Eve is your classic push button pony, but don't let that make you think she's an easy ride! She will throw her heart and soul into everything she does, as long as her rider is with her all the way, which also leaves her being quite prone to injury, as she will jump anything she is pointed at, even if too high for her.
She loves cats, and the barn cats quickly learn that hers is the stall to be in on cold nights as she will let them curl up with her.
She loves playing with other horses, and will easily accept them into her herd even if others will not.
The one thing that really upsets her is the sound of the wind hitting the arena wall, though as long as she knows the person with her, and they remain calm, she can keep her head, she just needs to know she can hide behind you.

Eve was purchased from a stud in Ireland as soon as she was weaned and arrangements were made to have her shipped to a competition barn in the United States. She was then turned out for the next three years, handled regularly but not started under the saddle until she turned three.

A barn fire a few years later found Eve at a new home, and the new yard were having trouble getting her to listen, as they only had an indoor arena and the mare had developed claustrophobia after the fire, so she found herself on the move again.

The next home, she was once again turned out and they slowly worked with her until she was blissfully happy to once again be in a stall, and worked in an indoor arena, though high winds were still known to set her off.

Grant and Emma Beringer found her at a local sale shortly after their nephew moved in with them, and they felt that she was the best way to help the unruly teenager settle down, and keep out of trouble, and enrolled him in the local pony club with his new mare.
